We are a small business who loves to put fresh, homemade salsa in stores. The salsa was birthed when a Native American girl (Mikquel Matherson) who grew up in New Mexico and Arizona, on and off the Navajo Indian Reservation, went to Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. She couldn’t find any salsa that was good enough for her, so she started making her families’ salsa recipe in her dorm.

While in college she met Justin Matherson, who was from an urban community in Denver (Montbello). The two got married in 2009. They would take the salsa to parties and people always said it was the best salsa they had ever tasted. In 2015 Justin thought it was time to start selling this delicious salsa and believed they could even make a living doing it.

We believe everyone who eats the salsa becomes part of the story and gets a taste of heaven!
